Hey there, I’m Tessa!

 

Thank you for considering me as your makeup artist! I figured if we’re going to work together, you should know some things about me.

 

So, the formal stuff first: I completed my MUA certification in 2021 through the Media Makeup program at JCI Institute. Based in Vancouver, I offer my services throughout the Greater Vancouver area, thanks to my personal transportation. While I specialize in film and fashion makeup, I'm equally skilled in event and bridal makeup. Additionally, I am proficient in basic hairstyling and various SFX makeup techniques, catering to a wide range of needs.

 

When you’re in my chair, it’s all about making you feel right at home. Whether you’re up for a chat or prefer some peace and quiet, I’m here to make it happen. And if you’re in the mood to crank up the tunes and have a mini dance party while I work my magic, count me in! I firmly believe makeup is for everyone, no matter who you are or how you identify—I just want to help you feel your most beautiful self!

 

Now, onto the fun stuff! Aside from makeup, I dabble in all sorts of artsy activities like painting, sewing, crocheting, writing cringy poetry (hey, we’ve all been there!), and busting a move on the dance floor. Oh, and did I mention I’m a card-carrying member of the tiny white dog club? She is my pride and joy and I will show you pictures if you ask. And when it comes to tunes, my playlist is a mishmash of pop hits, classic country tunes, and throwback jams.
